This Weeks Migration Outlook Oct 20th-23rd

Updated: Mar 1, 2022

The outlook for tonight and tomorrow is looking like a heavy concentration of migratory birds in the Carolinas, heading south. Also looking like moderate concentration of birds heading south through Texas. Michigan, Ohio and Indiana seems to have some birds leaving as well. They should be making it down to South Florida this week. Be on the look out when going birding in the evenings, or as they arrive the early mornings. Birds you can expect to see are birds of prey, warblers, flycatchers, catbirds, hummingbirds, swallows, yellow bellied sapsuckers, trushes, wrens, vireos, warblers, grossbeaks and buntings. Put out your hummingbirds feeders, seed feeders, and jelly feeders and watch them come or visit! Feel free to comment or post photos to our facebook group on birds you find this week!
